The 38^th Ordinary Meeting of South American Commission (COSALFA)

At that time, in fulfillment of its mandate, COSALFA will review the foot-and-mouth disease situation in the region and the commitments pertaining to actions undertaken under PHEFA 2011-2020 Action Plan in each country and in the region, recently approved by the Second Extraordinary COHEFA Meeting. 

Prior to COSALFA 38 and at the same location, an International Seminar on International Seminar on “The final stage in the eradication of Foot-and-Mouth Disease: the PHEFA 2011-2020’s Action Plan” , to reinforce the fight against the disease in the last phase of its eradication on the continent.  , will be held March 28-29, 2011.For this edition of the seminar we are offering the opportunity for the submission of works on the theme, in the form of posters, in accordance with the rules for submission for works.. 

COSALFA is promoted by the Pan-American Foot-and-Mouth Disease Center (PANAFTOSA)  of the Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization ( OPS/OMS ) and for this edition will receive support from the Brazilian Government through the Secretariat of Animal and Plant Health of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply ( MAPA), and from the Government of the State of Pernambuco through the Agriculture and Livestock Defense and Inspection Agency (ADAGRO).
